Welcome to July! I am off today as my dog is having surgery to have a growth removed from his eyelid. I know he’s going to be fine, but not gonna lie, I’m super anxious about it! Trying to distract myself, though, by hanging out in the blog world.
Today is Tuesday and you know what that means: It’s Two for Tuesday day, where I use Random Number Generator to pick two numbers that coincide with two books off of my Want to Read list on Goodreads and decide if I want to keep them or not.
First up was Son of a Witch by Gregory Maguire.
It’s been a few year since I’ve read Wicked, but I remember loving it. I went to see the play at TPAC a while ago with my mother, sister, and niece and fell in love with the story all over again. I have plans to re-read Wicked soon so I can actually finish the series. I own all the books but never made it past halfway through this one, the second one.
I don’t re-read often. I also don’t tend to read series much. But this is one that I would like to give another shot.
Second is The Family Next Door by Sally Hepworth.
I’m going to be honest…I don’t remember this book at all. Usually, I’m able to recall why I added a book (if it was recommendation or an author I was interested in checking out), but this one does not ring a bell at all.
Reading the premise, I’m not too excited by the idea of it. So, this one is going to be a pass.
That’s it for this week’s Two for Tuesday! Another successful keep one/ditch one week! I’m trying really hard to stick to this as much as I can.
Now…off to read so I’m not worried about my little pupper.
